Remember my earlier post on a 16th century Portuguese tombstone lying near the beach of Fort Cochin [see here]? The photographs were taken on November, 2022. You will notice that the inscriptions on the marker are indistinguishable and difficult to read [see also here]. During my recent visit to Fort Cochin, I could capture a sharper and cleaner image of the gravestone.
The incomplete Portuguese inscription goes in 6 lines:
